AB In 2015, a record $373.25 billion was given to charities. Donor-advised funds (DAFs) continue to grow in popularity and account for much of that figure. Charitable remainder trusts and charitable lead trusts are other alternatives. However, the choices these days come down to DAFs versus foundations.
