The authors first highlight the characteristics of the integrated wealth management adviser, suggesting that successful advisers possess a number of common characteristics, together with unique skills and competencies. They then explain how such an adviser goes about performing integrated wealth management from a practical standpoint and finally describe the team needed to implement integrated wealth management successfully over the long term. In conclusion, they note that the wealth management industry is moving in the direction of holistic wealth management, and all involved are recognizing the value of becoming more knowledgeable and a greater resource.
